Baby found dead in Stockbridge, police say

Is chivalry still important?

A couple’s relationship was tested this weekend when a woman saw her man back down from a fight. She felt as if her boyfriend should have stood up to the drunk guy who made disrespectful comments. To her, the “chivalrous” thing to do would have been to serve a beat down to defend her.

I personally don’t consider bustling someone’s nose as a chivalrous act but I get why it bothered her that he didn’t even say anything to the drunk guy. I think some women want to feel they are protected and safe with the guys they date. If you lose respect for the person you date, your relationship probably won’t last long.

Do you believe that we still need chivalry? What do you classify as chivalry in our so called modern day dating?
