I heard a guy recently tell someone that when you cheat on your partner, being discrete is the “respectable” way to have an affair. If you care enough about the person, you will do all that you can to hide the fact that you are betraying their trust.
I don’t know that I agree with this idea. I can, however, understand how people get angry when they catch their partner cheating. It is usually because they are sloppy and careless in covering their tracks. It makes it seem as if they are so caught up, good sense and rationale thoughts go out the window.
Do you believe that someone who blatantly cheats is showing that they don’t care about the relationship? Is it better to cheat quietly so that you protect someone?
Would you prefer to be told about an affair or do you believe that discovering it would give you more information?
